A place to land and find writeups, no fluff
Hack The Box has hundreds of retired machines and the documentation is scattered across blogs, videos, repos, and ephemeral Medium posts. This site does not clone any of it: it is a directory pointing to the writeups of the original authors.Author whitelist
Only S4vitar, El Pingüino de Mario, Securízame, 0xdf, and IppSec.
Zero SEO filler.
Validated links
Every URL gets a
HEAD before publishing. 404 / timeout → out.Language priority
When a Spanish writeup exists, it appears first. English fallback
via 0xdf and IppSec.
Retired only
No active HTB machine appears here. We respect HTB’s TOS.
How to navigate
- Master table (All machines) — single view with the full catalog grouped by OS. Fastest way to search.
- Top tabs — Linux, Windows, Other. Inside each, machines are grouped by difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Insane).
- Search — Cmd+K (or Ctrl+ K). Indexes names and skills.
What you’ll find on each page
- Operating system, difficulty, IP, retirement date.
- Relevant skills/techniques (kerberoasting, RCE, LFI, SQLi…).
- Table of validated writeups, sorted by language and author.
What you won’t find
- Flags or hashes. Period.
- Spoilers written by the hub team: we are an aggregator, not a blog.
- Active machines. If you search and don’t find it, it’s probably still scoring points.
